The Cactus Garden was Cesar Manrique’s last finished work in Lanzarote. In 1973 the artist restored the mill that decorates the limits of the center, having in mind the project of transforming partially-buried volcanic monoliths into the center-piece sculptures of a charming park.
The gardens are home to over 10,000 cactuses belonging to more than 1400 different species from America, Madagascar and the Canary Islands.
Once you have paid to get in to the park, you can take you ticket to the Cafeteria and this will enable you to get a free tea or coffee.

visited in April 2016 and we really enjoyed the gardens. We love our plants and this place is full of them. Had a lovely walk around even though my husband managed to get caught on a spike ha. Good place and a small cafe to get a drink in.
