Mizu Sportfishing is a big game fishing trip which leaves from Puerto Calero.

The trip will take you out to see between Lanzarote and Fuerteventura looking for tuna, sharks and other large game fish.  While trolling for the larger fish you can enjoy the sun and drinks which are supplied while you wait.

There is some bottom fishing if nothing is caught giving everyone a chance to try and catch some smaller fish.

On the way back to harbour there is further trolling where you can be taken past some ‘good ground’ where tuna is often caught.

While on the trip you will be offered some food and drink which is included in the price making the trip a great day out on a good boat.

If you don’t want to fish you can go as a ‘spectator’ so you can simply enjoy the warm weather and top up your tan.

Take plenty of sun cream

Take a hat

Sensible foot wear

Take warmer clothes as if the wind picks up it can get cold.

75 Euros for fishing

50 Euros to be a spectator

Enjoyable trip out fishing

I went on the Mizu last week and had a great time. The weather was not that great but the skipper did all he could to get some fish on the boat. Some trolling and bottom fishing meant I did manage to catch a small fish. Drinks and food for offered throughout the trip. All in all a good day out shame the fish didn't want to play.
